In a blog post written in Hindi in a post on X, Modi said, “Our government is dedicated to ensuring that no member of my family goes to bed starving. With this in mind, we have extended the PradhanMantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana to the coming five years.” “This implies that the scheme of free food rations for my petty brothers and sisters continues until 2028. Nearly 81 million citizens of this country can get this benefit. I’m confident we can help them live their lives more easily and better,” the premier stated.
Modi added that the Cabinet had approved a central plan to supply drones to 5,000 progressive Self Help Groups (SHGs) women and a budget of 1,261 crore over two years from 2024 to 25.
“In our effort to promote women’s empowerment in India We have also approved a major scheme that will help our agricultural sector become more productive. The government of India has opted to give drones for 15,000 women’s self-help groups. This is likely to make farming more accessible for our farmers family members,” Modi said.
